Discover a new way to take care of your self and your body with this method that is gentle and powerful.

A compliment to any of your health practices, Thinking Body will teach you new ways to enhance your vitality, regulate your nervous system and improve balance and muscle elasticity. At the crossroads of several  practices, the method is simple and accessible. You will be both surprised and excited about restoring your physical being in all it’s potential.

Includes: dynamic anatomy, neuromuscular training, postural and core sollicitation, as well as flexibility and tone.

Ballet With Your Neighbour (Starting May 1)

Thursdays, 7:15-8:15 pm

SPRING Session: May 1-June 19 (8 weeks)

Join our family-friendly Adult Ballet Class!

You can learn the foundations of ballet or get back into it for fitness, fun and artistry. And you can bring your kids 7- 17 yrs old to dance too!

Class will include a dynamic warm-up, up-to-date progressive conditioning, barre and centre work and some accessible, satisfying choreography. While doing an out-of-the ordinary activity with your children and teens.

Class is:

  • respectful of your pace and body

  • using imagery to improve your posture and alignment

Renaissance Dance Class

Mondays, 6-7pm

Winter Session: January 20 -

Step back in time and join us for an immersive class exploring the rich tapestry of historical dance styles! Experience the charming Inns of Court’s Almans and Pavanes. Have fun learning the joys of French circle dances. Enjoy the lively dances and sounds of traditional English country dancing. Come and connect with others as you learn the dances that have captivated dancers for centuries.

No prior experience needed. Invite a friend to join you!

Drop-ins are welcome

  • $10.00 per class, $8.00 per class for RCL members

  • Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing that is easy to move in

  • Bring a water bottle

  • Children are welcome if accompanied by an adult

Renaissance Dance Class

Join the instructors Jeanette Dunnett and Leslie Johnson in this exciting class. Jeanette has been dancing for 18 years and teaching for 15 years. Jeanette specializes in English Country dancing and teaches all four styles. Leslie has been dancing for 31 years. She has 30 years of experience playing historical dance music. Leslie’s teaching specialty is Almans, Pavans, and French circle dances.

Whether you're a seasoned dancer or a curious beginner, this class offers something for everyone. Experience the joy of dancing in a welcoming environment. All dance styles are danced at a walking speed. The class blends historical techniques with community spirit. All ages and skill levels are welcome. Bring a comfortable pair of shoes, and a water bottle. Why not bring a friend to dance with and enjoy the fun. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to dance through time!
